Balance
Poor balance is one of the biggest reasons an elderly person experiences a fall that can lead to more serious injuries. We help improve balance by identifying weaknesses in strength, coordination, and the body’s sensory systems that contribute to instability. Treatment often includes targeted static/dynamic balance exercises, strength training for the legs and core, and activities that challenge coordination and reaction time. We also incorporate gait training and functional movements to improve stability during everyday tasks like walking, turning, and climbing stairs. The goal is to enhance confidence, reduce the risk of falls, and help individuals move safely and independently.
