Why Mobile Wellness Physical Therapy?

Mobile Wellness Physical Therapy gives people a convenient and cost-effective option for those who need physical therapy or personal training.

Do I need a doctor referral to see you?

In most cases, you do not need a doctor’s referral to begin physical therapy. Indiana is a direct access state, which means physical therapists can treat patients without a referral for the first 42 calendar days. However, certain insurance providers—such as Medicare—do require a physician to be involved in your plan of care and to sign off on the initial physical therapy evaluation.

Do you bill insurance?

At this time, we only accept Medicare. All other patients are considered cash pay. However, we provide detailed receipts with the necessary information for submitting out-of-network physical therapy claims. Many of our clients have successfully received reimbursement by submitting these receipts to their insurance providers. Please note that coverage varies depending on your specific plan and insurer.

Do you see Medicare patients?

We do see Medicare patients for physical therapy, as we are an official Medicare

provider.

How much do you charge for therapy sessions?

Our rates are $60 for a 30-minute home visit, $90 for 45 minutes, and $120 for a full hour. These prices apply to clients located within 20 minutes of our headquarters in Westfield, IN. If you're located 21–30 minutes away, a $20 travel fee is added, though in many cases, this fee may be waived. For locations beyond 30 minutes, we’re still happy to come to you, but please contact us directly to discuss the travel fee based on your location.

Why are your costs so low compared to therapy clinics?

We keep our overhead low by bringing care directly to you. Without the expenses of owning or renting a clinic space or employing additional staff, we're able to focus solely on providing high-quality, personalized therapy.

What are your hours?

We typically see patients Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. However, weekday and after-hours appointments may be available upon request to accommodate your schedule.

How Do I Submit for Reimbursement?

Mobile Wellness Physical Therapy sessions may qualify as “out-of-network” treatments if your insurance plan includes those benefits. We’ll provide you with a detailed invoice (superbill) containing all required information—such as license numbers, tax ID, business name, diagnosis, and billing codes—that you can submit to your insurance provider. You can choose to submit claims after each visit or in batches, typically within one year of your treatment date. While we can’t guarantee reimbursement, we’ll equip you with everything needed to request it from your insurance.

Why is Mobile Wellness PT Cost-Effective?

Most health insurance plans today come with high deductibles, copays, and co-insurance—even for in-network physical therapy. On top of that, many outpatient clinics charge over $400 per hour or more than $200 for just a 30-minute session. At Mobile Wellness Physical Therapy, we offer transparent and affordable pricing: $120 for a 60-minute one-on-one session, $90 for a 45-minute session, and $60 for a 30-minute session—all delivered in the comfort of your own home. To put it in perspective, if you haven’t met your deductible, 10 half-hour sessions at a typical clinic could cost you over $2,000, compared to just $600 with Mobile Wellness PT. If you're paying out of pocket or facing high insurance costs, we offer a more cost-effective and convenient solution.

Why is Mobile Wellness PT Convenient?

We bring the clinic to you—literally. Your physical therapist arrives at your home fully equipped with everything needed for your treatment, including a professional-grade table for hands-on therapy, resistance bands, weights, and more—just like you'd find in a traditional clinic. If you're located within 20 minutes of our Westfield, IN headquarters, there's no additional travel fee. Plus, with ongoing concerns about COVID-19, receiving care in the comfort and safety of your own home is a smart, low-risk alternative to busy clinics.
