Tendinitis/Tendinopathy
We treat tendonitis and tendinopathy by focusing on reducing irritation while gradually rebuilding the tendon’s strength and capacity to handle load. These types of injuries usually occur from acute overload or overuse of a muscle. Treatment typically includes targeted strengthening exercises—especially slow, controlled loading of the tendon—along with mobility work to improve joint mechanics and reduce excessive stress on the tissue. We may also use hands-on techniques, activity modification, and education on proper movement patterns to support healing. The goal is to calm pain, restore tendon health, and help patients return safely to work, sports, and daily activities.
